This ‘work of art’ of 2 meters in diameter and approximately 2.5 meters high was made for the Lips company. The Lips company was an extremely modern and well-known foundry from Drunen and is now part of the Swedish/Chinese and globally operating Wärtsilä.
Another extremely special order from Lips came in 2012: the bell for the Olympic Games in London in 2012. This bell was actually only used once: at the opening ceremony… Ultimately, this ‘London Bell’ found its place as a museum piece and ‘never sounded again’.
